Tourist highlights:
San Juan Xar: this hermitage is located on the banks of the Latsa River. The cave was carved in the rocks and has three fountains towards the rear, the water in which is said to have healing powers. Another highlight is the protected tree species, Carpinus Betelus, which led to the area being declared a Natural Reserve in 1987.
La Ermita de Piedad: This hermitage dates from the 16th Century and can be found on the road to Lesaka. Important renovation work was performed on this hermitage during the 20th Century and a small bell tower was installed. On observation of the remarkable original stone facade, one can see the date of 1554 in Gothic figures. The patron saint of this hermitage is Piedad, whose feast day is celebrated in September.
St. Michael's Parish: According to the experts, this Gothic-style church dates from the 16th Century. During the 18th Century the arms were added to the original square, giving shape to what we know today. The altarpiece dates from the 17th Century and, although the original building did not have a tower, the one existing today dates from 1940.
Fuente Latsaga: (1747). Despite the constant modifications made, the original stone front made by the local Bernardo de Chango can still be observed.
