2010 Art exhibition in the Cloister of Urdazubi/Urdax
50 YEARS OF PEINTURE IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY
Fron 20 february to the end of the year, the art exhibition « 50 años de pintura en el Pais Vasco » (50 years of peinture in the Basque Country) will reopen in the medieval Cloister of the Royal Monastery in Urdazubi/Urdax.
The art exhibition will bring together 300 works of art, of 10 artists, who are appreciate betwen the greatest modern basque artist , and honorable representatives of the basque peinture, from the 50´s to nowadays.
We could see José Luis ZUMETA, and artist like Christine ETCHEVERS, Gonzalo ETXEBARRIA, Patxi ARANOA, PIER, José María APEZETXEA, Roger BRAVARD, Aitor MENDIZABAL, Irkus ROBLES y Michel HACALA. For twoo months will be also in exhibition the young peinter born in Hasparren: Benoît CAMY.
As for sculptors, the artists are Aitor MENDIZABAL, TISTA, Tomás FISCHER, François MARTY & Eduardo Iturralde.
